This wil be a busy month at school. Golf Tourneys and track meets, Taks testing and Easter Baskets!
I have been writing two new short stories this month. I recently finished quite a few watercolor paintings. One painting is a landscape featuring a Caracara, a bird native to south Texas and Mexico. It resembles an eagle. The reason I decided to paint it is becuase we saw one recently near Nasa Road One. Quite amazing since they are not native to this area.
Some of my students artwork is featured this month at The Arts Alliance at CLear Lake across from the Nasa Space Center.
Recently ESPN Classic ran an American Gladiators marathon and i watched some of the reruns. I didn't see the episode I was on but it brought back many memories from 1992 when I had so much fun on that television show!
At least another month before i can back to serious writing. The sports extra curricular seasons will be coming to a close in May. I hope to get back in the book promotion saddle soon. until next month, see you...Doug Hiser |
