This is beginning to be the Hottest Summer I can remember and it isn't officially summer yet! Mucho news from the Art-Escape camp. With Artist features of my paintings at Feather Fest and Armand Bayou Earth Day Celebration the popularity of the Hiser style of ELaborsim the art of Nature has grown here in South Texas.
In May the Bay Area Writer's League Texas Writers Rock" Conference was an awesome outing with good exposure for Art-Escape and my speaking workshop seemed to be a productive and exciting venture!
June saw the completion of my new co-authored book by Thersea Haak, Monty Finds His Family, a childrens book about Monarch Butterflies containing 8 of my full page paintings. How the Octopus Saved the World one of my personal Children's book also saw completion.
Next month Doug Hiser and Art-Escape will be featured in the magazine "THE SCENE" and The HOney Bee GIrl is still getting great reviews!
July 11th I will be at the Summer Harvest Festival at the famous HAAK WInery signing books and having a featured wildlife Art Show.
On July 16th I will be signing books at the Mae S. Bruce Library, in Santa Fe, Texas.
